Your DM template is the message that gets sent to people who comment on your posts. A well-crafted template is the difference between getting leads and getting ignored.

Writing Your Template: When creating or editing a campaign, you will find the DM Template text area in the Automation Settings section. Write your message here.

Using the {OPTIN_LINK} Placeholder: Include {OPTIN_LINK} anywhere in your message where you want your lead capture page link to appear. ReddifyAI automatically replaces this with the actual URL when sending. If you have not configured an optin page within ReddifyAI just replace this placeholder with your offer link.

Example Templates:

Helpful approach: "Hey! I noticed your comment about [topic]. I actually put together a free guide on this that covers [benefit]. Here it is if you want to check it out: {OPTIN_LINK}"

Casual approach: "Hey, saw your comment! I have something that might help with what you are looking for. Grab it here: {OPTIN_LINK}"

Value-first approach: "Hi there! Great question. The short answer is [brief helpful tip]. I actually have a more detailed breakdown here if you want the full picture: {OPTIN_LINK}"

Tips for Effective DMs:

  • Keep it short and conversational. Nobody reads long DMs from strangers.

  • Reference their comment or the topic to show it is not a generic message.

  • Offer something valuable

  • Do not use ALL CAPS or excessive exclamation marks.

  • Make the link feel like a helpful resource, not a sales funnel.
